Hello everyone,
It’s been a couple of weeks since we gathered to celebrate my birthday, and I wanted to personally thank you—from the bottom of my heart—for your time, your presence, and your generosity.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a joyful celebration of life, and to those who supported from afar. Because of you, our $60 for 60 campaign was a success—we not only met the goal, we exceeded it. Your generosity means so much to the children and families of St. Anne’s Family Services, and tax-deductible acknowledgments will be sent soon.

The intention for the evening was simple: to create space to exhale, laugh, dance, and be free from the pressures of life for a few hours—and we truly did just that. The joy, creativity, and energy in the room created memories I will always cherish. You all showed up dressed to the nines in your 70s, 80s, and 90s attire, and the style, fun, and performances made the night unforgettable.

We were also blessed with a beautiful 78° January day—and anyone who knows me knows how much I appreciate warmth, so that sunshine felt like a gift all its own.

A heartfelt thank you to my husband of 38 years, Alonzo Little, who planned this celebration while preparing for a major surgery the following week. I am deeply grateful. Thank you as well to our daughters—especially Ashley, who worked closely with event planner Shanelle Smith of Shanelle J. Management to bring the music-inspired vision to life.

Special thanks to Keonna “KJ Rose” Henson, our incredible MC who kept the evening flowing; DJ Bella Foxx, who brought the soundtrack to life and kept us dancing; and Visionary Noir, whose magic added wonder and delight to the night. Thank you as well to our photographers—Edward from TenSquared Productions and our roving robot photographer, who even joined in on the fun—capturing the joy and connection throughout the evening.

We still have a few trophies waiting to be claimed for some of the standout style moments and performances. Tina Turner—also known as the ageless Betty Lamar—you left your trophy behind!

Below are a few photos from the evening, along with photos and videos captured by the robot, to help relive the joy and memories we created together.

Thank you for every card, note, gift, donation, and kind word—and for being part of the soundtrack of my life in this season. I am truly grateful.

With love and appreciation,
Lorna

It’s time to press play on a night of fun, dancing, and unforgettable memories as we celebrate Lorna’s 60th birthday — a milestone filled with gratitude, joy, and love!
Get ready for a house-party-style celebration — relaxed, comfortable, and full of laughter, music, and good energy.

Dress in your favorite musical era — the ’70s, ’80s, or ’90s — or as your favorite album or CD cover! Join the lip-sync celebrations and bring your A-game to the dance floor!

To honor Lorna’s heart for service, please join the “$60 for 60” giving celebration — a tax-deductible gift benefiting the families of St. Anne’s Family Services, her home away from home. Of course, if you wish to bless her personally, you may, but her greatest joy will be knowing we’ve collectively given back to the community she serves so passionately.

Eat, drink, and be merry as we celebrate life, love, and legacy — in true Lorna style. Because the best tracks are the ones we dance to together.

With love,
Alonzo & The Girls
